I just picked up a 2000 Acura Integra. It's left hand drive but the first letter of the vin is J. and in the door it says, "Built in Japan by Honda Motor Co." is it considered a JDM or not?

Acura is a Japanese brand, and they used to be mostly built in Japan. Acura is a 'luxury' branch of Honda.

Technically no. JDM is a term almost always used to describe something that was made for the Japanese market. (like my car!! :p) Like right hand drive cars. Or the parts that came on them. Your car was made in Japan, but not for the Japanese Domestic Market" aka JDM. Hope this is helpful. :)
