I always liked the 90-91 Preludes especially in stock form. Hard to find them in decent shape these days.

I know, it's nice not having to shift all of the time, but still having the ability to switch gears manually when I want to. I really want to get a level 10 torque converter and the gaskets and all that to beef up the tranny, but I've got more important things I want to buy first. (mostly all cosmetic, like dent repair, then lip kit, red valve cover, intake, etc.) The trans is the weak link on the car, but I don't beat the shit out of it, so it shouldn't give me any problems. I'm so glad I got a lude though. I was just gonna get another civic. Now every tricked out civic I see on the road, the drivers stare in jealousy (you guys know the look) and my car is stock. It's a good feeling...

Oh, also, I've been doing minor little cosmetic things to my lude, like red honda emblems, and black bumper lights. I want to clear out the orange out of my taillights, but you have to cut into the back of the taillight to do it. Has anybody done this yet? I'm probably gonna do it, but I don't want to ruin my stock taillights if I somehow cant get the piece that I have to cut out to sit back in correctly. I just wanted some pointers on how to seal the piece back in properly. I'm thinking probably jb weld and possibly silicone for waterproof-ness

I had an '89 prelude S (which means it was one of the last carburated hondas, not like thats really important) but I drove the shit out of that thing:rocks: :rocks:
That lude was the whole reason I got into hondas:eek:hsnap:......
and then last year wimpy ass hurricane Dennis came through and knocked a tree on my car:confused:  :(
the worst part about it was i watched it happen....crazy huh?
Well i happened to go outside for a cigarette, heard a weird loud crack, and watched the only tree that fell in the neighborhood fall right on the roof:eek:hsnap:
i always thought a tree would bounce when it falls, not this one. Down, down, smush and stop.

Well that was a long post, sorry i just found the pictures in a shoebox
