Well i traded my Integra for a 2000 Honda S2000. I got the car knowing it needed motor work, but i got a complete second motor with the car. So after getting the car to my friends house in Michigan i pulled the head because the guy told me he screwed the timing up so i figured he bent the valves. But after further inspection cylinder 2 walls were all scored. So the building began, pulled the motor, got 12.5:1 pistons, boring it to 89mm, cometic head gasket, ARP head studs, all new gaskets, Porting the head, AEM intake. When i got the car it has a HKS Catback exhaust, ACT Stage 2 Clutch with lightweight flywheel. So here are some pics, will get more as i start putting it back together.
looks good and you will have a little more pep to go with it. You guys must have pretty decent gas on pump where your at? Any plans for supporting head mods? Intake mani, throttle body, ITB's, Cams? etc...
Yeah i will be running 93 i may have to mix some though i will see when i tune it.. and they dont need intake manifolds they flow really good already.. i will be getting stage 2 or 3 cams soon and a skunk 2 74mm throttle body soon.. but right now i dont need them to run and drive the car.. but the head is getting ported so it will flow better..
Understood, 93 should be ok with a decent tune, of course im sure you know that already. Will the block be seeing any upgrades? possibly a stoker kit?:googly:
those look nice what size are they? they should be refinished for a nice clean rim! will this be a show car purely? will it be slammed on the ground? these rims might be a good choice for a show oriented/slammed ("hella flush") setup, but not so good for a track rim.
well i want both so i will have a few sets of rims.. lol yeah they are 18x9 idk if im getting them yet and they will be getting refinished they are two piece rims so i would take them apart and refinish them.. i will be getting rpf1 for a track rim.. and it wont be slammed but will be lowered.. lol
Oh ok, that is a great track rim, very light yet extremely durable! 18 x 9 might be a tight sqeeze up front, might have to massage the fender a bit for clearance. otherwise nice!
yeah i gotta roll the front and rear.. but the front is getting 18x8 i got 2 18x9.. and for rpf1 i will have 18x10 in the rear with the right offset and 18x9 in the front.. the right camber and offset it will work..
Yea pretty much anything is possibly to get wheels to fit, but there will be a line that should be drawn as to how much negative camber is dialed in and trying to run quick laps on the track. Im sorry if im seeming like im trying to teach you how to set your car up. Im not trying to be rude by any means bro. 18 x 10's on the rear will be huge! looking forward to seeing them on there.
nah man its all good!! lol and yeah its the biggest you can run on them.. but it will be nice and sticky.. lol
yea thats good, hopefully with the proper suspension setup you can knock down some quick lap times at your local track/ auto-x
