Well I noticed this last night when I was gettng off of work. The "Brake" light on my dash stay's on when the E-Brake is down. Do any of you know why this happening? Thanks for the help.
BRAKE WARNING LIGHT Brake warning light indicates parking brake is engaged and/or warns of low brake fluid level. To adjust parking brake light operation, remove center console. Turn ignition ON. Bend switch plate downward until light comes on when parking brake lever is pulled one notch and goes out when lever is released. this is from mitchel ondemand i use it at school all the time it only costs $4000 a year to buy it. lol i love my school.

i can get info on any car from 1973 to 2008 any make any model. all the mitchell shop manuals that you see at the library and stuff are all online on this site. i have access to it 24/7. so any wiring diagrams or vacuum diagrams that you need they are available. let me know
Alright, well before I went out and bought so brake fluid for my car I decide to check the fluid level of it and it looks fine.
pull the cap off the reservoir and make sure the float for the switch is floating right. it may be on the cap or in the reservoir if its in the reservoir make sure it is at the top of the fluid level not in the middle. also try pulling up hard on the e- brake lever then pushing it back donw to make sure the switch isnt stuck i will post how to adjust it
to adjust parking brake: 1. Raise and Support rear of vehicle. Ensure rear brake caliper lever contacts brake caliper pin. See Fig. 1. Pull parking brake lever up ONE CLICK. 2. Remove end panel from rear of parking brake lever cover. Tighten equalizer nut until rear wheels drag when turned. Release brake lever. Rear wheels should rotate freely. Rear wheels should lock when pulled up 6-10 clicks. this is the figure that goes with it.
