those jdm filters go for a pretty penny actually. the TRD's are better though

are we free to start guessing at what the car is?

first guess would be a zzt230/231 (last gen celica)

but judging by the box, it looks like that filter has been around for awhile...

well its Daniel ur the closest it a 1987 toyota supra with a 7mge body code ma70 n/a auto dark blue exterior blue cloth interior i will post a new thread with the build up on it pics will be soon as work has been busy and school starting soon and cars not cleaned out yet. so pics will def be up this weekend and so far i havent even changed anything or tuned it up yet but it has been running really good so i will show it off this sat

how the hell are you going to do that? Sport Compact Car magazine built a VQ35DE w/ Cosworth internals and it was putting out only 400 rwhp. if you balanced, blueprinted, and stroked out the engine then 300rwhp is a slightly more logical number

 

well yeah maybe 500 is extreme but i will do all in my power to make it close to that and here are the long awaited pics




















i was going to take more from the top but the fire alarm at the parking garage was going off so i got out of there. lol but more to come when i clean up the engine bay i have installed a k&n fipk kit in it

DAMN! that int looks minty! all but the ebrake. my friend has one thats fully built and it lays down 425 to the wheels. they can be made fast with some money, i guess thats with anything though! lol! congrats on a clean, no rust sports car! :thumbup:

oh one more thing, be careful with this car in the rain. it'll get away from you quick.
