I broke it good evidently. #1 is at TDC, #4 isnt... like 1-2mm below TDC. Luckily, the entire head looks good and usable. (Whew!) number 4 rod bearing was MIA. The rest were beyond gone. I have a nice paperweight though... I think this is most of #4...
or block oh, and here's the excessive wear on the pistons and cylinder walls. Nothing repairable here...
new block. coated bearings installed and spec'd out. Got 2 rod bearings done too. Had to knock out two pistons because I installed the crank sideways instead of up and down (rods hit when rotated) so now I need to source a piston ring compressor for 82mm pistons.
Did the oil pump, cams, timing components, painted, started on some accessories. Still need to install the oil baffle to the block, oil pickup, oil pan, and the rest of the accessories. Probably try to put it in next weekend.
