new build!! well guys im at it again lol. ive been putting together an ls/vtec for the last month. not sure what i wanna put it in though. ive been lookin at buying an ek hatch. but on with build details lol so far the bottom end is done i had the stock crank knifed and balanced,stock rods machined,acl race bearings,arp rod bolts and head studs,rs machine ctr spec pistons and it was cleaned and honed. here is a shot
the gsr water and oil pumps are installed as well. i have a ctr single band crank pullet going on as well. as for the top im going with a gsr head and a mild cam. updates will come as parts are bought lol.
This thread is on a car related then for car you have to seen the some engines to take for the good advantage for using the car , They might be perhaps and helpful to all for making the good car . It can be performed good while using that car .
all thats left is to throw the head on and check p2v and v2v clearances and the long block is pretty much done
thats not a real mugen vc is it? what brand header is that? what tranny are you running? sorry i have alot of questions lol
nah its a knock off i just liked it cause it was red lol my favorite color. i traded my stock chipped up cover for it. its a knock off hytech tri-y header. they cost the same as a dc sport but from what ive seen its much nicer. and that is a 00 si trans i had layin around it has a jdm itr 3rd,4.7 final,and lsd and ls 5th. lol i dont mind questions
i figured it wasnt a real deal vc cause i thought they only came in that gunmetal color but it looks good none the less. and i was looking for a good tri-y that didnt cost alot and that sounds like a good price. keep up the good work man. you inspire me to get off my lazy ass
sorry i havent posted in a while ive been super busy. but without further a due lol pics of progress..... the before shot gettin there after the first drive kinda current shots with the old wheels and headlights
its still a work in progress. so far the outside ive only done front and rear lips,ex sideskirts,spoon replica spoiler,changed the headlights and grill,and got new wheels. the bronze was cool until everyone started getting them lol. my suspension is pretty simple but effective. im using kyb agx struts with ground control coils and it rides smooth and handles great. also have omni power lca's and a rear lower tie underneath with a c pillar bar and rear strut bar up top. tri point front strut bar coming soon. the car ha power windows and an armrest in it already i added gsr seats,airbag delete tray,sparco wheel,jdm radio block off up top and a cd player in bottom. will try and get some more pics up soon.
