I used to have the Porter Cable polisher. Left it in a friends garage...I think her mom sold it in a garage sale. Can't wait to use these Pinnacle XMT products on my car!!

Yea, I mean it's shines and looks nice. But I want it to have proper finish. I'll get some pics before and after. Also the rain over here has that dark colored super fine dust in it that comes from China. It stains paint over time. I did a small spot to see how stained my car was. It's pretty noticable. So it's in need of some correction! :p

Ordered a few more things. $182 to be exact. Money well spent though. Getting ready to get crazy over here!! :p

P21s Gel Wheel cleaner. Probably the best wheel cleaner there is. Even baked on old brake dust is no match for this totally safe cleaner. Wet wheel, spray on, agitate with brushes of various sizes and shapes, let it dwell for up to 2 HOURS!! spray off to reveal sparkling clean wheels. A must for my Mugen brakes/white wheels combo.

Wheel Wax. Once your rims are clean apply this to keep brake dust from sticking. After application, brake dust is repelled, and washes off with regular car wash soap.

Meguiars Mirror Glaze #62 carwash. Got this for our van and for my mother-in-laws Peugeot. I'll be using this in my detergent distributing bottle for my Makita pressure washer.

These next products will be used exclusively on my car.

Optimum No Rinse Wash and Shine. This stuff is awesome period. Search it on Youtube. Basically 4 products in one.
    1. Car wash. 1 oz to 2 gal of water.
    2. water softener/conditioner. 1 oz added to regular car wash.
    3. Clay bar lube. 2 oz. to 1 gal.
    4. Quick detailer 6 oz. to 1 gal

Opti-Seal polymer paint sealant. After you wax your car use one spray per body panel or so. VERY sparingly. Makes water roll off like crazy!! Also makes paint "pop". Even makes white cars sparkle. Kinda hard to get a white car to be very glossy. This is the key. You should try this on the bimmer Daniel!

Lake country 5.5" glass polishing pad for my Porter Cable. Can't wait to get those damn etched spots off. I've tried many different things. Hope this works.
    ai104.photobucket.com_albums_m163_dbendel35_autogeek_2056_34592867.jpg

Lake Country 3.5" backing plate. Almost all pros use 4" pads. They just work better. And to use them you need this backing plate.
    ai104.photobucket.com_albums_m163_dbendel35_autogeek_2051_58116248.gif

    Lake Country 4" pads.
    Orange- cutting pad.

Great products, what are you using for your paint correction with your cutting pads. Ever use Menzerna SIP?

I always wanted to try P21 wheel cleaner, i usually use Simple Green MAX APC 1:1 dillution. Works awesome and safe on OEM painted wheels.

Right now im using the Pinnacle XMT stuff that came with the kit. But funny you should mention SIP cause I was reading about it last night. For those of you that don't know, SIP refers to Menzernas Super Intensive Polish. It's a compound that you would use for cleaning up swirls and scratches. Works down and stays wet longer. This way you don't get all that white dust. You just wipe it off after it's removed the problems. Alot of professional detailer use this stuff religiously! lol! Anyway after the XMT stuff is gone I wanted to try the SIP followed up by PO85RD. There's so many pad/product combinations, you almost need to try alot of different combos to find out just what you need.

Autopia is an awesome site for learning about all this stuff. I have heard them say that Honda paint is really soft. But i've also heard that Type R paint is different than other Honda paint (harder). But can't find the old thread about it. So when I do my car i'll start light and move down if needed. I do know from that site that the paint on your M3 is nice! BMW does really nice OEM paint jobs!

Ok so I used my P21S and it was ok. If you have new wheels or silver wheels that are'nt that bad you'd be fine with it. But I heard that Autoglyms Custom wheel cleaner was just as good and foamed more. So recently Autobacs started selling Autoglym. I like this wheel cleaner much better. However the spray bottle that it comes in sucks. I diluted it 50/50 in a different bottle and its awesome! I also ordered the mighty M105 M205 combo from Meguiars. And i'm going to get my finishing polish from Autoglym.
