i have a 00 civic si and i am lowering it and getting some rims the rims i like only come in 17s is that too big for my car? will i have problems if i get 17s? thanks
To keep a good ride height & have a comfortable ride as well as a good stance I suggest nothing bigger than 16 inches or wider than 7.5
You probably would'nt have any problems other than rubbing sometimes. However I agree, no bigger than 16. What rim are you wanting? The reason I ask is because you might be able to find a different brand rim of the same style that is available in 16.
The best look & feel in a Civic IMO: 4th Gen: 13"-15" 5th Gen: 14"-16" 6th Gen: 15"-16" 7th Gen: 15"-17" And I know this because I have owned/co-owned all of those generatons of Civics.
my buddy has a 96 ex at stock ride height with 17" enkeis and they rub if he turns it all the way. he hates the size on his car. just thought id share
most people think my 5zigen look about right on my car...if u slamm the car..then 17 wont even look at big
