Skyline generations

The new GT-R is incredible... but looking back to the old school models, I'm fond of the R32 generation myself, I think that's when the Skylines really took off in terms of power and speed, whereas the previous models were a little less aggressive.

But when it comes to the appearance, I really like the C110... clean design and a tougher look than some of the others...

Which Skyline generation appeals to you the most?

 

The R34

For me the R34 is the Best with AWD Twin Turbo.

I definitely agree with you on the R34!

 

I always liked the way the R32 looked, so I'd probably take that. I would probably swap in the 6-speed though.

 

idk i think i like the r33 the best for some reason...

 

R35 for me. I like whats newest in technology and design, however R34 will always be classic.

 

I think this is my fav Skyline. Reminds me of a 280 Z in a way. Classic!! :thumbup:

The C110 GT-R series was released in 1972 and was available as a coupe and a 4-door sedan and featured the same S20, triple -carbureted DOHC six as the previous GT-R. Optional spoilers and wind screens were still available.

In 1973, the hardtop version arrived. The 1973 model had black flared arches, and a different grille. As with previous GT-R models, it used the same S20 motor and independent rear suspension. This model of GT-R is also known as the "Ken-Mary" GT-R since its catchphrase was "Ken and Mary's GT-R" as a result of Japanese commercials showing a young couple (Ken and Mary) who relaxed and enjoyed the countryside with their Skyline. Only 197 of these models were produced and none were officially exported outside of Japan. Rumor has it that the KPGC-110s were only produced in order to allow Nissan to use up the leftover engines from the KPGC-10 series. Nissan did not race with this version of the GT-R.
