bought a 1990 civic Gl a couple of months ago and since ive finnished my rx7 this week im finally going to start on it. but im stuck on what engine to get for it so was just wondering what you guys have done or heard about thats gone down well.

ok so i bought mahself a 1988 crx...and decided to make it a real eye catcher and uplift and carry on the rep.and standards i see u all have here going....all of the works done to it so far has really been exterior wise,i intend on putting in a bseries b16/b20 setup...n/a with a touch of NOS and hopefully clock some high 12's...

List of whats done so far...
1.Get rid of rust areas...which was a little..
2.Spray over the entire thing caz paint job was shabby...
3.Replace 14'' rims...

i´m new in the forum

I´m tuning a 1990 HB civic dual carb D14a1 90hp

I get another engine and I´m working on it

I have bike keihin carbs (4)
Bmc air filter to bike carbs
D16y8 head gasket (thinner)
D13 pistons set (increase compression ratio)
D15b non vtec camshaft from a 1.5 dual carb CRX 103 hp
the head it´s port and polished
Toyosports exhaust manifold
toyosports D-series clutch

now I´m disapointed about D14 connecting rods, they´re too damn thin, so I...

Hello to everyone! I'm JHMED, and I just thought I'd intoduce myself to the fellow ED/EF/EE lovers here!

My name's Andy, I live in Calgary, Canada.

I was building an EF8 SiR replica from my ol' 88 CRX Si, and I got myself in over my head. I had all these cool JDM toys, but then I realized... wait, I actually have to INSTALL them all too!

I found it was cheaper to import an SiR and restore it using all the shit I had accumulated over the years than it was to restore my 88 (bad rust...
