Complete Restoraton Information

For a Complete Restoration you need...

- b.l. GOLD Trueno Emblem
- kouki bumpers, lights, sideskirts, spoiler, trueno window visors, trueno mudflaps, JDM corner lights smoked
- decal set (door decals, hatch decals, redline tailight decals if u dont want to buy the hard-to-find b.l. redlines, and the gold strip.
- snowflake rims in gold
- b.l. odometer (with orange letters)
- b.l. climate control (with orange letters)
- b.l. shift knob (orange letters and stiching)
- b.l. steering wheel (similar to the one on the JDM FX-GT, orange stiching that says "twin cam 16")
- b.l. seats (which is levin seats with stichting that says "black limited")
- interior is black and grey
- some people also told me all black limiteds have a sunroof and the rear wiper, but i've done some research and it's not always the case..please correct me if i'm wrong.

ALL came with sideskirts
ALL have manual trans, power windows, steering, sunroof, LSD
some have the zenki hatch spoiler, mudflaps from the factory
came in kouki cloth panels
the dash is also different
floormats either have "TRUENO" or "BLACK LIMITED" (not 100% sure, but its like that in the MR2)
window visors say "TRUENO"

ALL are kouki models

 

More Facts

Black limiteds are speical because...
1. toyota claimed that only 400 was made,
and they were only sold in certain regions of japan...

And couple of things i forgot in the list:
- the digital clock has an orange display too
- someone told me all black limiteds have yellow headlight bulbs








---Toyota came out with the "Black Limited" Trueno because of the low sales on the Trueno hatchback model, compared to the Levin 2dr & 3dr and the Trueno coupe. Toyota threw a few gaudy gold cosmetic options and dubbed it the "Black Limited" hoping that it will bring up sales. it worked... Because It is now the Most Sought after AE86...

The First Time I seen One Was When Alex Pfeiffer Drove a Black AE86 at a Drift Day Event at California Speedway Like 3 or 4 years Ago~ I got a Chance to talk with Him and Hang Out with the Guys from Battle Version and ~Pacific Rim~Drift Team~ They were All Cool and Didnt Mind Teaching Me About AE86s and How they are Much Better than S13s... ~:nono:

I got a Chance to Ride with Brandon He had a White AE86 Coupe at the Time~ He was a Very Good~ and Made Getting Sideways Look Really Easy~ Since then I Began to Study an Learn More about the Chasiss But I Never had a Chance to Buy one~:ermm:

 

theres 2 on Yahoo.jp auction right now! to see one is weird, but for there to be 2!!! starting bid on the first one is 400,000 yen, and the second is starting at 252,000 yen w/ one bid. heres the pics! enjoy!

the AE86 wasnt the only car offered in "BLACK LIMITED"

 

Even though this '86 doesn't have any decals saying it's black limited I was just wondering if it is one. Since it's possible the owner took away all the decals etc.
