So im wondering if this is a good deal. I found a 92' Integra GS with 118,000 on it. It seems to me to be the car i want because i really cant find anything where i live (WIsconsin ) But yea i was thinking maybe just drive until the motor is shot and swap it...or maybe just swap it right away, but im kinda of tight on money and would have trouble even buying the car as it is right now. But im only 17. He wants $3,000 For it and idk seems a little high priced... Just give me some of your thoughts and maybe some suggestions and i would be greatful :help: :sadwavey:
118,000 is a great mileage for that car, sorry but that motor wont blow anytime soon , 3g's is a little high I say give him 2k cash, how's the cond of the car, what color?
The color of the car is black. There are some dents on the bumper i guess form what he told me and i saw a little white scuff on the rear right side of the bumper...other than that i would say thats about it.
Sounds like normal wear, dings and dents will be common. Don't expect a perfect car, the DAs are becoming tougher and tougher to find in mint condition as the years go by. The motor is very strong and will last a loooong time. Negotiat as well. Good luck!
I saw a '92 GS-R (Red) on autotrader real close to me w/180k miles on the motor and they're asking $4,300.
I'd say that's a good deal because i just recently bought my 92 Integra RS, 125k miles, in great condition for 3k. Check out the prices on edmunds.com, that should give you a good idea of what the car's worth.
The mileage is not bad at all. But definitely check your local Craigslist and don't be afraid to travel a little to find it. I found mine for about $1300 and it wasn't perfect, but what 16 year old car is? Good luck
