It aint bad...apparently it is super rare or something like that. I just like it because it came with the car and is easily able to be welded into the car. Also gives me a template to go from should I want to build a beefier one later on down the road if I get more into track events. For now though I am just gonna weld it in so it is a bit more functional

I am also gonna make some custom strut bars and have them powdercoated the color of the cusco bar. Call me a ricer, but it should look pretty nice.

Anyone notice anything different about my daily driven del sol auto? (here's a hint, it's not the JDM front bumper ;))

Dropped on some Tein Super Streets that I picked up for $150 w00t!

Oh you know it bro, they got posted at maybe 2am on a local import forum, and I had got them a week later when I could drive half way across the state to pick them up. They ride absolutely perfect for my daily driving fun, and they were cheap so I can't complain

They're actually HX wheels painted white. I sold them a while back and bought me a set of Slipstreams since I'm not cool enough for SW338s :p

Wow thats crazy, I honestly thought they were 96' Spec ITR wheels, but that requires ITR axles and stuff. They did look great. Anyway, best of luck with both rides!!:thumbup:

haha thanks bro. Funny thing is they could have been 96 spec ITR wheels since you can use those axles with a B16 tranny, and a del sol model did come with a B16 (first appearance of a DOHC VTEC motor here in the states). Anywho, I am loving the black on black look even though the project car doesn't run at the moment. On the other hand the automatic daily driver refuses to quit :p

Side note, the NSX was the first DOHC VTEC honda stateside, the 92' Integra GS-R was second. The del Sol VTEC wasn't until 94'. Why isn't the toy running?

oh shoot, I got the quote wrong from wikipedia...del sol was the first appearance of the ever-popular B16 here in the states. d'oh!

The toy aint running because it has a spun bearing in cylinder 2 in the minime that is in it. I guess you could say it runs, it just consumes oil and coolant and is a giant waste of time to rebuild that motor. I am just gonna throw a JDM B16A in the car and be done with it :p

haha thanks bro! Just making the daily look clean on the outside so I don't look like a broke mofo when I roll up somewhere. The project is just gonna be insane though...if you guys wanna wait around a few years to see it that is :p
