Hello everyone, I'm serafin, I've been on the site for a while, finally decided to make a build thread for my car. I named her Mia. I'm on my phone so I can't upload any pics but ill put some up once I get on a laptop. It's a 1995 Acura Integra. Bought it back in February for &2600. Bone stock, a virgin. It was silver with the OEM pin stripes across the side, then about a month later I rear ended a truck & the front end was trash. New radiator support, new bumper support, 2 new front bumpers(I didn't like the first one I bought), new headlights, new hood, new radiator & the car was ready for the streets. But with a green hood & a black bumper, & a sver car, It needed paint. I drove around for about 3 weeks with those mismatched parts, for some reason rattle can paint didt come to my mind to use as a quick cover up. Then I finally painted it in June. Then I slammed it on cheap springs. I got an aftermarket intake one it, it was CAI then I turned it to a semi CAI & SRI. ha you'll see in the pictures. Then I got some cheap headers, they got all faded n looked like crap so I went to stock. I purchased a v tec head in July, it's currently sitting in my garage. That's about everything I have up till today. Now the CEL reads code 9, & I have oil entering cylinder #4. I pulled the spark plug out & it had oil. So looks like a bad valve guide or piston rings, really not looking forward to repairing the issue but oh well. Cars are money pits. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking. Good news, I check my compression, it read about 120 to each cylinder, only 15 psi lost in 16 years. Sounds good. Then I checked my spark plugs for resistance, wire for cylinder 4 had 38k ohms resistance, so that needs to be replaced, but I'm just gonna replace all the wires& all the plugs. I took the distributor cap off & the metal studs were corroded, I cleaned them up a little, then the rotor was also corroded, gave it a clean & I started up the car & the cel was gone & the car didn't hesitate to start. So a new rotor, cap, spark plugs&wires & valve cover gasket because it leaks & I should be fine
well here are some pics guys! First night i got her. then she got different rims. my first upgrade my first ricer piece. 3.5 weeks later. 1month later, off to the body shop! 2 weeks latr guess whos back? no not the terminator, my car. I picked her up a 5 pm on firday & i went home& got to work, 5 hrs later the front end was put together. She was still beautiful in my eyes haha.. BTW, shop work plus new support was about 350. then with parts, total was about 600. then a new bumpr, the black one was in bad shape. then some gsr starfishes fo only 100! then 3 weeks later, ime for paint. cheap way to lower her. nice & low under dash lights. you say rice, laides say nice. haha a type r lip to complete th exterior! then a fully rebuilt v tec head for 230. its just chillin in the garag. the exhaust manifold & cold air intake. sound upgrade. the rear spakers were replaced with rockford fosgates. then some camber kits. front & rear. a red valve cover& different intake design. it looks different now alos, its not down where a CAI would be, its right behind the right headlight. this is how it looks. blue pedals haha cargo cover covered in speakers. then a c pillar bar anda new steering wheel. one last one haha thats pretty much it from start to stop, the exhausr manifol was swapped back to stock, a mini wire tuck was done, im still trying to tuck a lot more stuff, but it seems like teres a lot of vaccum lines & idk what theyre used for, i think i am gonna rewire the fuseboxes, also i had bought a nos kit & then i put nos buttons on the new wheel, but i sold the kit then i bought a new oe lol. im still thionking if i should buy a bottle too. well thats it for now, sorry about so many pictures.
I think I've already seen the whole build but its good to look at it again. Gives me hope!! Haha It's looking good man. Mine is finally on the road and running strong after sitting for 10+ years! Oh and if you still need me to measure the stock height of mine I can finally do that. Just lmk
Wow 10 years is a Lot. Haha. But glad to hear it's on the road again. & thanks but I've love interest in 4" shocks now haha. Maybe some 3" dropp shocks and I'll call it a day.
Updates! new wheels. Gold Gsr Starfishes Evil eyelids. then I pulled the head off! and got this what's this? oh yea. it is a gsr head for my lsv setup!! RLCA tow hooks I'm still fixing some bugs on the lsv set up.
