Which car do you think would win in the 1/4 mile? '92 Prelude- non-vtec, 2.3L DOHC, headers, intake, 2809 lbs, cf hood. '95 Del Sol- vtec, 1.6L SOHC, headers, intake, 2301 lbs, exhaust.
At least half is in the driver, so.... same driver, maby....yeah, I'm gonna go with the sol for the win:thumbup:
id say the del sol....lude is a lil heavier if i remember and plus i think the power to weight is in favor of the sol......plus the little d16z6 can rev up pretty quick so..
Well, Damn. I wish I can claim all your money, because we raced twice and the luda wins!!!! Just by about 1 car length. They are about 500 lbs apart. I would say both drivers are equally good drivers. The person who owns the del sol is my friend and he wants to race again. So updates soon to come.
yea, i had a bad start the first race, and the second i popped out of 2nd. i wasn't in the groove, we need to race again and this time at speedworld lol.
Reallie..the sol loss? i race a stock prelude with my del sol D16Z6 and i took him by a half car, i only had intake and exhaust.
i'll go w/ the sol for this next race. and i like that cf air chamber thing, it's tite...can't figure out if it's p-word jdm, or j's racing. go sol:rocks:
so when is the next race? not to rush but come on, lineum up lets go lol j/k! looks like im going to have to agree with everyone else on this. Del Sol for the win if drivers are equal.
I would have guessed the Sol but I guess the prelude wins eh? Id like to see it on the track though so itd be official.
i would hope the sol would always win...but im always for the sol...wait i raced a prelude with a h23 and beat him...may have been that hes a bad driver but i only have the d15b7 and an intake.....he had an exhaust and maybe more
update we raced a couple weeks ago, this time i got him on the launch and gained a 1 1/2 car lead and held the lead up till 3rd gear, he began to overtake me, at the end of 3rd he was about one car ahead of me. i think ill take him on the 1/4 mile with a quicker time, but his trap speed will be higher.
