b16 w/ turbo rebuild questions?

i have a friend with a b16 that has a turbo...hes looking to rebuild the block and needs help....he has approx 3k to spend...he just wants it to be fast...not a 10 sec car in his words......so he would like to know what parts to buy and all that....any help would be greatly appreciated....

well, what is his current setup and his power goals? if he is wanting to rebulid the block, its pretty straight forward: Forged pistons, rods, etc. what size turbo is he running? since the car already has a turbo i would hope that the ignition has already been upgraded, same for the fuel system. what size injectors is he running? i just kind of need to know a setup before i can give some direct answers... srry for not gettin to this sooner

all his post says is this

"I got a Black Del Sol SI 94 with a b16 swap and a VW 1.8 litre turbo on it"

so im assuming stock injectors etc...

 

If he is serious about finding out what he needs then have him make a login to this forum or contact me via email/aim sn: nocjayy ... I work with a machine shop out in Cali who builds n/a all motor NHRA V8s that push about 1400est. hp. He has built some serious b-series and k-series motors for us aswell. You name it he can do it I am a eastcoast distributor for his company. Contact me maybe I can help...
