Ok, well am having a problem with my battery. Am not too sure if I need a new one or not. This has been going on for 2 days now. When I have my headlights and fog lights on. The battery light on my dash starts to flicker, but only when the car is idling or not moving. But also, if I have the car is on and just sitting there with all lights off, the battery light doesn't come on. Once I get the car moving, the light goes off completely.

Is there a wiring problem or just need a new battery.

Alternator is working also, so the car isn't running on just battery.

    Help!! Thanks.

I was actually going to say it might be your alternator. When your sitting with your accessories (lights) on the light comes on, but when you start moving (full-fielding the alternator) the light goes off. That's what I would check first.
    How old is the battery?

Alright, well I had the battery, starter, and alternator tested today. Battery is good, and starter good. But for the alternator, they said its charging the battery too much and its not normal. They said I shouldn't have a problem and keep the alternator until it decides to take a dump on me.

    What do you think?

Probably a bad voltage regulator, which is built into the alternator. I'd replace it before doing damage to your battery. (How is the water in the battery, btw? All dried up?)

Take a digital volt meter and measure voltage at the battery leads. It should read 14 to 14.4 volts. Make sure to rev it up to 3000 RPM.
