black or yellow HT?

ok so i have an 01 s2000 spa/indy yellow. so i uncoverd it in my garage to wax it after 3 months of garage action. i look at the rear plastic window and the worst happend. it had cold rip in it. now, i am going to buy a honda hard top(i like it the best yay rear defrost!) i was thinking about getting the black one on yellow because it is different and looks really sleak but at the same time i like the yellow on yellow look too. i photo shop the two ideas and they look bad ass. so opinions would be apprciated befor i got to work and clear out some cash.thanks!!

get a yellow one. matching always look better in my opinion.

and later you can sell it for a CF hardtop or have both

 

I think a matching one would look better as well.

 

here is my thing with the yellow, pre-painted parts never match the car so i dont want to get a yellow one and it not match my cars tone. i see it all the time when i put accessories on at the honda i work at. but yellow seems to be the beter idea.

i dont like the mugen carbon fiber hard top...it looks like they just coverd the convertible top with carbon fiber not to mention the small rear window. the honda one you get a large window(improved visablity) and rear defrost(yay i can see out the back if my car is outside on a cold morning!)

either would look good, but yellow is my first choice too.

well the verdict has been made. i am goin for the yellow one but when i get it if the paint doesnt look like it will work i will be returning it and getting a black one...pics in a few weeks

 

^ its going to take a few months to get.. and it aint very easy. my friend works at a honda dealership and my other boy has a silver s2000 and he ordered a black one. you have to have your vin and why you want the color choice and some other weird stuff. but he got it and it looks sick! so i guess it worth it in the end..

 

thats odd because i work at a honda dealership(jeff wyler honda 8950 colerainave. cinicnnati ohio) and i have seen 2 put on and it took a week for one to get here and the other about 3 days. they have them. warehouse 90( or the one in troy, ohio) has 3 of them ready for next day) warehouse 56 in iowa has 2 yellow ones and it will take a week unless next day. no questions asked

 

huh.. maybe it was because he ordered a black one for a silver car and they wanted to know why..??

 

yea i would probably put my money on that.each part that is orderd is supposed to have a vin with it to check accuracy of the order and the vin probably came up as a different color than orderd and confused it.
