No, no and no! Why do you all want to blow up your motors? If I blew up my motor, I would be S.O.L. and be using Pat and Charlie to get to work (those are my feet, BTW)

you won't, i ever tell you the story of when me and Anthony tried to blow up a D15Y1 [i belive?] out of a 91 Honda Civic Hatch while we were both working at Hyper Motorsports?

i'll try to keep this short and kinda on topic [not really but what the hey it's a good story]

okay a dude comes in and wants to swap in a b-series of some kinda, so me and Anthony decide, "hey lets blow up the stock engine!"

so we drive around the shop area in first gear redlined at ECM limit which i belive was 7500-8000rpm or so for an hour. nothing

drain coolent; repeat driving around in 1st redlined for an hour... nothing temp gadge didn't even go up

drained OIL; another hour of redlined, again nothing...

replaced oil with beer... [yeah idk eaither but it seemed like a good idea at the time] again another hour or so... nothing

so by thie time we're like wtf...

redlined in neutral and spray water in the intake mani. from a hose to hydrolock the motor and HOPEFULLY break something... nothing, drain water repeat, nothing... we just said f**k it and bashed the valve-cover in with a 20lb sledge hammer.

    that killed it

so yeah mike there is no way that we are going to "blowup" your d-series, well unless you have a 20lb sledge hammer :D
