I just had this replaced on my Teg. Labor and parts came out to be 426. Did I pay too much , my brakes were turning into mush and it had to be done. Thanks,

Yea I don't think it is that easy without proper tools. If any body else knows about how much it would cost please let me know.

yeah i just checked on alldata, labor rate is only 2.4 hours + if they flushed the system [which they probibly did] that's only .8 hours, so that makes it 3.2 hours at lets say $75 an hour would come to $240 before tax + the cost of the master cylinder [which i found online here http://replacement.autopartswarehou...egory=All&part=Brake Master Cylinder&dp=true] for $129.12 to come to a total of $369.12 then at .07% tax comes to $394.95, so yeah you overpaid by like $50 or so bucks... when you could have just dont it yourself, there ARE NO special tools except a $10 flare wrench... you got PWNED

OH well, 50 bucks was worth it. The brakes are good as new. Now I need a new clutch shitty. I think I'm going to go with Exedy or Clutch Master? I need a stage 2 to take the beating.

It is the shit when you have friends that are mechanics. I had a friend that worked at Curry Honda back in GA, he used to hook me up with discounted parts and do sides job for me all the time.It saved me so much money having a friend do the job for you. I need to find somebody like that here in AZ.
