so next time you buy something JDM, remember that the car that the part came off of was most likely purchased at an auction house for a few hundred dollars! so think of how much money say Password is making! amazing! Response is different cuz they have NEW stuff that is perfect! think back when the B16 was the new thing to have. swaps were kinda expensive. they probably bought he whole car for half of what they made off the engine and trans! :eek:hsnap:

that's so true man. for the price of a B18 type-r swap, or even a full B16B motor swap, i could buy the whole car, in running condition, with all the trimmings for about the same price in Okinawa. i think i'll move back to Okinawa, and open up a business selling JDM parts to the world too.:) There's so much money to be made in this market right now, until the next new cool thing comes along. shoots, it might even be OEM-USDM parts that go big next, or maybe EDM, who knows.:)

I found a Japanese site selling a bunch of cars when I was looking for info on a possible third brakelight cover for the EK Civic Ferio. If you read the paragraphs on the top of their page, it appears they doo all sorts of work, from selling parts, to ECU tuning and upgrade, and also import/export of Japanese vehicles to U.S. and elsewhere. So, here it is, an oldschool Skyline...it says it's a 1980 year model. The price is listed at 1,500,000 Yen, which would be about $15,000 USD

    [IMG] :woot:

and here's a few more pics to drool over from that same site. :leghump:

then there was the 2000 EK9 Type-R, no price listed
    [IMG]

    an EK3 for $1500 USD
    [IMG]

an FC3S RX-7 hooked up for $3200 USD
    [IMG]

a Levin for $8600 USD fully loaded
    [IMG]

a Trueno for $5500 USD fully loaded
    [IMG]

    a blue RPS13 (180SX), no listed price
    [IMG]

DC2 Honda Integra Type-R, no list price
    [IMG]:woot:

    1998 EK3 $2650 USD fully loaded

they had tons of cars on this site http://japanesejapan.at.infoseek.co.jp/. lots of nice cars to look at. :rocks:

    K-truck!!

thats so funny that you want a K-truck!! being in the real estate, property manager business, my daily driver is a K-truck named Herbie!! he got his name from Herbie the love bug. my father in law took it one day to pick up some stuff and when he got ready to come back, not being used to a stick, he reached in and started it in gear! it jumped forward into the side of another car! so like Herbie the love bug he was driving himself for a few seconds! anyway mines all pimped out! it is the aero version. it has the badass Addzest CD, speaker set! the engine is half under the seats and half under the bed. a joy to work on im sure! :S last pic is my legacy next to the neighbors 4dr Skyline! (note the Signal Auto, and "i love my honda" stickers on herbie!!!!:rocks: they dont have those "i love my honda" stickers over here so its super cool!) enjoy:)
Daihatsu Hijet 12v 5speed workhorse!! lol!

dude! that is too cool.:rocks: the whole time i lived in Okinawa i only got to see one fixed up k-truck. your's is pimped out with the addzest sound system, that's tite.:) the orange one is cool, looks like a mini Japanese dump truck. i think they have something pretty similar to the k-truck in hawaii, so i might get one when my wife and i move back home. i always thought these things would make awesome vehicles to go to the beach in, and i'm sure i could prolly fabricate some kind of utility rack to carry my surfboard on. kool pics bro.:woot:
