Anyone see it? Any thoughts? IMO Daniel Craig wipes the floor with Bronsan, in both acting and plausibility. Casino Royale is definitely one of my favorite Bond flicks and movies in general. I can't wait to see it again... oh and Eva Green is gorgeousss.
My desktop background is Eva Green from the movie... IMO she is the best bond girl since The Spy Who Loved me because, she is an absolute intellectual match for Bond aswell as being beautiful in the classic sense of the term.
I am a big James Bond fan and this movie was the best one yet. Much more realistic if you ask me, and just a great action movie.
The best one yet??? Come now, there are about 20 other Sean Connery movies. :slap: I will definately see for myself as well.
Don't get me wrong, I love Connery... But just see the movie for yourself. This new guy puts up a good fight.
Connery had only 6 movies, 7 if you include "Never Say Never Again". My opinion: Here is my theory, one of which I dont really like. Whether the actor is good or not, the directing, the costars, and the production is what makes the movie. Connery although being the original, had some great movies but also had some shitty movies ("You Only Live Twice"). We'll forget about Lazenby. Moore had good ones like "Live and Let Die" and "Man with the Golden Gun" but also had stuff like "Moonraker" which was less than favorable. I think Dalton was largely underestimated, I thought his two movies ("The Living Daylights", "License to Kill") were actually pretty good. Also IMO, Bronsan got handed some cinematic shit (despite "Goldeneye" being pretty good). I don't know about you guys but "Die Another Day" was terrible. Thats all I'm saying, it was just extremely terrible. Here is the movie in a nut shell: corny one liners, halle barry hardly acting, invisible car, n. korea is the root of all evil. I just hope that the rest of Daniel Craigs movies are good. He proved he is a great Bond, lets just hope his next movies are just as great.
Here is picture of the Casino Royale advertisement I took in the Roppongi subway station. They are releasing movies quicker here than they have in the past.
