Well to send stuff to my family in MO is pretty pricey, so I would think that LA would be about the same.

Got my brakes today! They were, as I expected, really dirty. So I cleaned them up a little bit with some brake parts cleaner and some Orange Cleaner. The calipers came really clean! They are in great shape. Even the pads are still good. The rotors are in good shape too, however they have some surface rust on the outside edge, and the inside of the air channels. So Im thinking about having just those parts bead blasted. I'm gonna clean everything again with some Simple Green. I took some pics but when I was in the process of uploading them my camera battery shat out on me. So i'll try to do it in the morning! :)

    Thank you! :)
Well i've read that they are actually S2000 calipers with a stronger piston, im not sure if thats true or not. Inlinefour had the best description of what the differences are in the rotors.

"Introducing Mugen Active Gate Brake System. The Active Gate Brake System is a high-efficiency front brake system that provides outstanding braking performance and control at all times. With conventional brakes, the heat generated can deform the rotor and reduce pedal responsiveness and control. With the Active Gate Brake System, the unique rotor cross-sectional design actively draws cooling air from the rotor interior. This revolutionary braking system minimizes heat deformation to maintain a responsive pedal touch. The Mugen disk rotors feature a reverse-ventilated cross-sectional design providing ventilation on the outside (the inside of the rubbing face contacts the pad) and an increased rotor diameter (282.0 mm to 300.0 mm). The circular holes in the Mugen rotor hat section are designed to ensure active cooling. The rotor is also 3.5 kg lighter (per wheel) than the factory rotor, contributing to a reduction in unsprung mass."

OK so on the 22nd my wife will get a call from the dealership detailing when my car is gonna be here, and where. *excitement building*

Also i've been trying to clean the rust off of my rotors. I hate rust. I used some rust remover from Kure. It only slightly worked. So tonight I was doing my nightly auction search and found a new set of Mugen F1 rotors nib. Starting bid is 26000 yen. And the buy-it-now price is 32000 yen. Cheaper than Kingmotorsport. They want $375 +shipping for them. Anyway, wish me luck!! :D

I won the rotors tonight!!! Nobody bid on them, so I got them for 26000 yen. No more rust removal for me! I'll take some pics when they get here.:D

Also the dealership called my wife and still did'nt give me an exact day yet. But it will be next week. :paper:

And I won another auction the other night. The Integra 3rd brake light that lights up "Integra"! Looks like new. A bit dusty in this pic. It does'nt fit my car, but it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Well the Kagoshima dealership called today to ask which Sasebo Honda dealership I wanted the car to be delivered to. So I know where im going to pick it up at!! lol! Also they asked me the other day whar numbers I wanted on my plates. Kinda hard to make up something using only numbers that makes sense. So I chose 99-18. 1999 1.8 ltr. So I guess it's gonna be here maybe Wed or Thurs!!! :)
