How well does this work in 6" of snow? I'm talking a completely stock, D-series powered, manual trans, Del Sol. I found one for cheap, and was thinking about picking it up. I will put snow tires on it as well. (That HAS to be better than the MRS with sumemr tires) All it needs is a throwout bearing, fix the driver's side door linkages (can't open from the outside), and that's all I was told. What are common problems? Targa top leaks I hear. Usual Honda 1/4 panel rust (that I don't really care about for a beater). Anything else? -Kevin
damn sweet pick up! i was thinking the same thing del sol for winter beater. or a miata. or since the snow gets high i might need a jeep
woot welcome on buying a sol...i sold one of mine and now im trying to get the other one fixed for the road... damn yours is black too..the color i wanted lol
lol I've replaced: clutch (TO bearing, pilot bearing, pp, disc) driver's side axle (pass. looks new too) pads and rotors touch screen monitor w/ a DVD player shifter bushings and it looks like I might be doing a thermostat because the car has an over-cooling issue (won't heat up for a LONG time). It could also use paint, but I might do it super cheap in the spring time.
