***Congrats~Rare EG*** Please Click Pick Above for More Pics and Info on Jimmy Uria's Del Sol!!! Jimmy Uria 1993 Honda Del Sol Si The late Randy Gagan used to refer to his cars as "artwork." I didn't know him very well, but this statement holds a lot of truth for all of us who consider the modification of automobiles to be enjoyable. Our cars are expressions of ourselves; they show our likes and dislikes, our tastes, and our attention to detail. Granted, not everyone is into cars, but those who are generally put a lot of themselves into building their own. Each person has an opinion of how to build the perfect car, and if you ask everyone what they think the perfect car would look like or have, I bet you'd get a million different answers. That's what makes building a car a fulfilling hobby; its a blank canvas that you can do whatever you want with. You can make it an ugly race car, or a pretty race car, or a blingy show car if you wanted. You could make it look unique, or like everyone else's. Its all subjective, like artwork. When it really comes down to it, we're all artists in our own way; we do what we think looks the best, because in the end its an expression of ourselves, just like a painting or a sculpture or a poem or a story. We're the only ones who have to look at it every day, and the only ones that get to enjoy it on those Sunday drives. It naturally follows that we should be the ones making the decisions as to what goes on or gets left off, since in the end the artist has to be happy with his work or it was all for nothing.
While reading your first post, Clutch, I was thinking about my Grand Prix white AP1, with red interior, lowered on some gold Work emotions. Yeah...i nearly shed a tear. I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Best Sol in the world.
