~Alex Tissot's~ 1994 Honda Civic DX ***Please Click the Pics Above For More Pics and The Full Article*** Like it or not, the Honda scene has changed over the past 15 years. Nothing ever stays the same, and change is usually a good thing; it has lead to improvements in existing products and development of new ones that have helped bring the industry from a bunch of backyard street racers fabricating their own turbo kits to 1000+ hp methanol burning drag strip monsters. It has sparked the interest of companies that would have never dreamed of developing or making performance parts for itty bitty economy cars, and because of it has brought new perspective and engineering to product R&D. Whether or not you like what they’ve brought to the table, or the products they’ve engineered, or the ideas they’ve come up with, you have to admit that as a consumer, it’s nice to have a wide gamut of parts to choose from. If you’re like me, you end up buying Japanese parts anyway because they happen to give you the quality, looks, performance, or engineering philosophy that you’re after better than their American competitors. But, if not, there are still plenty of good parts made by non-Japanese companies out there, and as long as you know what you want and the parts you spend your money on give it to you, you really can’t go wrong whether you buy expensive Japanese parts that you have to wait 6 months for, or run-of-the-mill American made parts that are readily available. It’s all a matter of style, or an interpretation of the words “quality” and “performance.”
