This is just how i did it. HID parts are form a 2003 350z that i managed to snag the headlights at a car auction, (both lenz where cracked) but.. HID's where good I jused JB weld to bond them together. I forgot to take a photo of making small metal plates L shape to seal off around where there is gaps from the entry of the lens. I used jB weld to hold that in also. The setup isnt im sure the RIGHT way to do it. But it worked for me. I planned on sanding the JB WELD runs to a smooth surface and air brushing them flat black on the backside. So inside the hood would look a little better.. But with that SOHC im sure its the last thing that makes my motor bay look lame. HOPE This helps a few of you get some ideas.. for upcomming hid projects.. AND Look... still the factory headlights! Woot Woot!
hid conversions are diff on integras since the headlights in integras are projection style themselfs... the civic's have no projection beam thus the reason why i had to use the projection part from the 350z. PLUSS... my complete conversion was under 50$
Very nice write up... i like the plug and play kit myself.. but this is definatly a nice write up .. good work!!
