Doing a crx have some questons....

    HI all
    I have a 1991 crx Si

    I have:
    apex full collovers
    spc ball, rear uper, rear frunt, controle arm
    Fastbrakes custom kit frunt and rear EBC green pads
    newspeed frunt uper, rear uper, rear lower
    Newspeed sway bar frunt, rear
    ES bushings full kit all the way arond
    Autopower 6 point bolt in cage
    Sparco 3" cam lock 6 pint harnes
    Sparco wheel
    Tecknecs snap off hub
    Volk te37 16" Black kind of beet up
    Thermle ex cat back I think its not the 3" wich I want now lol.
    Stock si seats



    About to do
    Take out the D16 put in a GSR.
    Sleved block ERL
    Pis
    Rods
    Real mugen cover
    Some type oil pain Z10,moroso
    Avid mounts
    Avid or full race bars
    Head work
    Valve train....
    Full race turbo kit for 500-600hp
    Fule set up Magna Fuel
    CC twin disk

    Real mugen body kit
    Real mugen wing
    JDM hood
    JDM doors
    JDM lights
    JDM finders
    JDM hatch

    I dont know what do about paint
    I was thinking candy red, Black, kid of like a crome red or crome black....

    And seats I was looking at...
    Sparco S Light CF $2,900.00 Each
    Mugen S1-R $1,200.00 Each
    Spoon Carbon Kevlar $1,400.00 Each
    Memory Fab S58 RED
    (only like 10 in the us) I think $500-600 Each?

    And Wheels I was looking at...
    Fresh te37 15" to 18"
    Volk Racing "TIME ATTACK" LIMITED EDITION CE28N

    (15" only)
    Mugen NR Mirror Face 15x6.5 if they will fit over the brakes lol
    Kinesis K58 18" 5 spoke black lip red spokes or the othere way arond ?

    I would advise you to not worry about name brand this and that, and I'm not sure what your automotive skill level is, but your better off doin an LS/Vtec if your looking to build the bottom end and then turbo that with a more streetable turbo (no bigger then a GT30) and thats even pushing it. No offense, but you seem to be building a Gran Turismo car or something. Consider that your looking to drop almost 25 thousand dollars into a $1,500.00 car

    I go that far, there are plenty of very notewothy hondas sans K20

    I would prefer 15" to 16" the biggest on a CRX. Any VOLKS woudl do!

    Yeah the K series swap is the hottest thing now, however getting a GSR engine may be more cost efficient for you.

    All redy have the GSR.
    And I have another crx that I all redy stated to put a k in.
    the gsr has just been a na for some time been wanting to Turbo it for some time.
    Yeah I know what u mean 1,500 car with 25 in it lol.

    so I gess no one likes mugen?? lol and this is a jdm forum... haha

    This car I am doing it for sema show and some what for my self.
    Just was asking what people like.

    As for the k thing I know people that have them in a ef9 and ef8... and people are not looking. inless there is people all redy looking.

    Any way thanks for saying some thing lol.
    hope to hear what othere people have to say...

    I think that your to do Parts List is Very Impressive but If your Going for Magazines you should stick to a Theme~ :)

    Since your getting a Full Mugen Body Kit I would Go with the S1-R Mugen Seats and Mugen NR Mirror Face, 15s is Perfect~ Also with Paint you should Stick with Honda Codes but Look into Diffrent Models Like NSX or S2k or Even Pilot, Ridgeline or CRV there Colors are Amazing also with Extra Pearl~ :rocks:

    Looks like the Mugen NR Mirror Face wheels will not fit over the brakes grrr.
    If it comes down to it I might just use spacers lol... dont want to tho.

    I realy like that seat but if I can get sparco to give me some seats or a real good brake I will do that.
    Come to think about it the mugen seats are not a real hi end seat in real racing.

    For paint I was looking at the red that was for the sir2.
    But still looking at black or candy red.

    Thanks for your ideas will keep them in mind.
