Please tell me you didn't use spacers on stock studs... I had a couple snap off on me when I didn't know the previous owner of my other ride had spacers on stock studs. It's actually incredibly dangerous =/ Brakes look sick as hell though!
so did u cut that hole out in the body panel, or you found a rear with the hole already there? I can't tell, the picture looks out of shape.. Was that the left or right rear fog? I know it's angled a certain way, but I'm wondering if you could mount either side, ON either side (with a considerable amount of modification..) Know what I mean? Anyhow.. Looking good on the work man.. Fix that bumper hang and you're all G!!!
^it actually the same light itself.. you turn it one way for the left side and upside down for the right side.. the fog has little "L" or "R" on each side of it..
Wrd i didnt cut out of panel but i guess if you only had the light you could do it that way. Mine came with light and panel and you have to cut a square in the body.
Dammit.. I can't find a panel anywhere.. I can only find the light.. I don't wanna do a hack job on the rear panel myself.. I know it ain't gonna look pretty.. Anybody know where I can find a panel.. w/or without a light? thanks
closes you'll get man sorry http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HOND...709QQitemZ320096403964QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
i know.. that one is RHD tho.. I want the LHD.. shieeeeet.. What to do what to do.. maybe I'll just wait it out and one day I'll find one floating around.. Grrrrrr...
yeah just wait thats the best thing to do and im thinking of kicking the back out a little bit like half of what the front is what do yall think the front is 1inch so the back would be either 1/4 inch or 1/2 inch
The EDM rear fog light uses an 1156 bulb so it shares the same sockets as the reverse and signals. I’m pretty sure you can use one of the sockets off a civic that uses an 1156 bulb. I had two spare taillight wire harnesses from a del sol so I cut the signal socket out of one and ran it off the rear side marker (small 168 bulb) of the other. I asked a cop if the light was illegal and she said no so I’m too lazy to run a switch lol. I recommend using an inline fuse I’m using a 10 amp and it seems good so far. When I installed the light I put the EDM rear garnish on first the I held the light in place and scuffed the primer on the body very lightly with the pegs on the back of the rear fog light. Then I drilled the first hole for one of the longer gray pegs. I did the same for the peg on the other side, mounting studs and the upper smaller gray peg. (For RHD it would be lower peg). If it’s a little crooked use the drill to make the hole longer in the direction you need it to be adjusted. For the clearance for the bulb just use a “bi metal hole saw.” Sounds scary but it’s just a drill bit and it costs $10-$15 at Home Depot. Its so much easier then cutting a hole!! And it’s a lot cheaper then having a hole cut at a shop. I used one size smaller then the 2 inch but you can just bring a socket into the store to match it up. After all the holes are drilled and it fits I suggest spraying it with some primer so nothing rusts. And if you want a slightly dimmer bulb you can you use a 93 bulb it fits right in and its half the watts but it’s still bright. Another problem I ran into was it was set up for a European plate and I didn’t want to drill holes in the rear garnish. But luckily I found a universal front license plate bracket that’s flat and fits right on. I’m sure you can pick one up at any auto parts store.

do the little plastic points (on the bottom) do anything? i picked one up but the one on the lower right is broken. will that affect anything while installing?
nahh I don't think that will be a problem just one less hole you'll have to drill lol... the little pegs don't really do anything
I believe they are there for install at the factory, to make sure they line them up correctly (top/bottom). Post yours when you are done installing.
