updates!! got my brembo rotors from 88rotors i was about to replace this nasty ass chrome shift knob with an oem shift knob i scored only to find out that the person hacked apart the shifter so they can screw that chrome thing on it thru the sides and im having trouble with the hatch....its not sitting flush...anyone know what it can be? was going to have more updates today but a friend back out and i still have yet to get the rust fixed

hey guys sorry i havnt been on here to much...since school started iv been either busy with school or the 86 but heres MAJOR UPDATES from the past month and half....ill just do it with pics getting ready to tape it up before primer (primer pics and wetsanding pics MIA, ill post up when i find them) paint clearcoat finished dont mind the sheet hanging over the pass door, cause i had to take the door off over the weekend cause i forgot to sand down a bondo spot, and im really picky about things, so i repainted the whole passanger door...it was still drying when i left back to college so didnt get it on yet, and the rest of the bumpers painted black came out awesome.....ill put them back on next weekend and now what i have done today... ok well i had a bad weekend, only got bumpers on....heres some pics, i still have to redo the extra hood.... and a headlight cover fell off the string and got all chipped up so i have to redo that next weekend. and i still have to glue on the side molding to that one door heres the pics... more updates next friday and saturday!!!

sorry i havnt been on here in a while, been busy with college(senior yr work is crazy), my civic was stolen last semester, and been working on the 86 and other car things but heres the updates 14x7 konig rewinds with -9 offset on 205/60-14 Toyo tires got the car on the road in Jan....ran into a few minor problems 1) tires are rubbing when i hit bumps...think a strut is blown?? tried banging in the metal from inside the wheel well in the middle, tried rolling fenders a lil...still scrapes...i think its hitting the bolt that holds the bumper to the fender, any way around that? or drill holes in fender and bumper and zip tie it like iv seen people do?? 2)i dunno whats wrong if its the clutch or trans? sometimes when i start up the car, its hard to get in gear or wont go in reverse at all....but if i shut the car off and try again it works...... but then again its got 170k miles on it, and i plan on replacing the trans, clutch and ect once i find the swap i want other then that, feels like a fun car to drive...i love it, cant wait to drive it some more after its fixed Motor sounded really bad after an hour drive....decided to pull the motor, rodknock FTL and the centerforce clutch that was on it when i got it, ill take a better pic in the AM of it and the clutch, but yea all the orange paint was coming off just looked up the clutch and its like $50...lol no wonder the paint was coming off went to order a redtop 16v but the motor was having compression problems so i switched to a ST 20v hmmm what can this be? test fit the header, need to cut and extend the two ends a lil took both wiring harnesses off and sending them out to get wired by Dr. Tweak for the distributor, this one wire was cut, is there any way for me to find one or anyone have a parts #? took all the parts i needed to off but im not sure what to do about the 16v alt, i put on all the brackets from the 16v but i kno it would sit lower....not sure on the belt then just sit back and wait on the wiring which im sending out tomorrow....o yea i also ended up ordering a BT ECU from Japan banged in the firewall to clear the dizzy and coolant lines and while im waiting on the wiring which will prolly take about a month, i still need to run the coolant lines over the header and do some welding on the header to make the 2 ends line up with the ones on the motor im hoping to be done with this by mid march
very nice i have never seen one in person before so we need to meet this summer and i need to check that thing out.
