gsr motor b16 tranny?

ok im looking to buy another car, and from what ive always heard gsr trannys have better ratios then b16 tranny. a few of the cars i have been looking at have b16 trannys on their gsr. is that good? bad? what?

 

its a good set up depending on what you want to do with the car... Light to light ... your going to rip alot harder with a b16 trans... but freeway wise and gas milage i would go Gzer... its up to you

 

how hard is it to make a hybrid? like b16 1,2,3 gsr 4,5

 

just like another other transmition rebuild... not to hard .. you probably want to start with a Gsr Trans. but its the Final drive that makes a diffrence... so you have to do some math and figuer out whats best.. :rocks:

 

3rd gear in a gsr tranny is a beast. I talked to kenny from jotech about the same thing about a year ago and he said that he does tranny rebuilds like that for customers all the time, so it is possible.
