Right Ive always liked S13 Convertibles But they Were never sold here in Europe and Im looking at bringing one in from the states.

How do you go about buying and export a car from the states

Can it be done without actually having to travel to the states ie Is there export companys that handle paperwork etc

Which part of the country would be the best part to buy from

Is it hard to convert a s13 to RHD (Im from Ireland btw)

Before anybody asks Why dont I just buy a Silvia Convertible There like hens teeth and difficult enough to source

im sure there are some exporters here...

a rhd conversion can be done by an experience body guy..most of them are done at the firewall...and just source a silvia front clip

Anything South or West is a good place to buy, generally. I have seen very few from the midwest that are clean and worth building. There is actually a VERY clean red convertible around here for sale.

Not sure if you can see this pic, but this is it.

Looks a bit to clean for a car id be ripping apart anyway

Still have to work out a budget/plan for bringing the car in

prices seem to verify a bit

    the car would Have to
    ideally no mods
good condition top (this could be expensive to replace in Europe)
    no rust
Wouldt mind one with a rough body
ideally one with a bad engine/no engine theres an sr going in there anyway

Whats involved in a RHD conversion

its a project for most of the year its going to be locked away only reson I want to do it is simply cos its different
