headlight question

i got a new driver side headlight and it came with the hole assembly...the ppl at my fiances dealership say that i have to take off the bumper to fully chaning this out b/c it blocks 2 screws or something...is this true?....or are they just stupid?.....(reason im asking is cause they dont deal with hondas)

 

1. remove grill
2. unscrew bumper from fenders.
3. remove bumber lenses
4. there are 2 bolts behind the bumper lenses that attatch the bumper and bumper brace to the car, remove them.
5. pull up and out on bumper
6. voi la

it's a bad design, but you have to remove the bumper

 

We Ep3 owners have that problem too... Honda gave our cars the special ability to be a PAIN IN THE ASS! I have to take off my bumper to do the headlights too...you don't want to even begin to know about the taillights!
