just bought cove base molding and installed it on the front of my sol. will have pics uploaded tonight.
i also have wider molding so i think i'll put that on tomorrow. it would make the lip like twice as low
yeah i plan on redoing it tomorrow with the other cove base molding and this time, i'll measure the distance between the screws..
If you do this it will look much better, I have a friend who did this to his 87 civic hatch since he didn't find any oem he could adapt easily but the first time it looked like he did it while he was drunk, he put about 30 screws on it and not equally spaced, he fixed it up on a second one and looked much better..
Looks good from what I can see, but did you use 2 pieces cause it looks like theres a seam. Once you measure the holes and use black screws it will look better too.
looks good man, look even better after the black screws and spacing even like everyone else said. to you for being creative. i dont know if i want to do this or not though, i dont really feel comfortable putting screws in my bumper. im wierd i know but thats just me. i might though after i see the final pics, good luck man. later
