HOW TO: install optional equipment

so i was thinking of taking my digicam to work and taking pics during installs. like spoilers and alarms and whatnot!! this would be on all Scion models and also Toyotas. if this would be interesting for you guys post up:rocks:

yeah. i am thinking of getting a bB or xB lol. but i'd buy the basemodel (no options) and get all of the parts from work at cost :O

 

is this major installs? or little stuff to? like even an air intake?

 

SCORE!!! an xB owner welcome!! well i work for Toyota at their Pre-delivery facility in Benicia, Ca. i have not seen an intake so i'd say no. but i do anything from spoilers to alarm upgrades to molded dash appliques to TRD upgraded wheels (BTW mounting a 30 series tire on an 18 inch rim is a PITA). so i could show you how to do any of the optional accessories. but we don't do things like a DC header or AEM intake.

 

Any type of DIYs are good information and are good for visitors to the forum. I say do it!

 

yeah i wanna do it ASAP but we got a new PRODUCTION MANAGER so there is hella drama at work i will hopefully bring the camera to work tomorrow
