I got free VW BBS wheels

Just a perk of being in the property management business. Some people moved out of an apt and left them. We put up a sign that said come and get your wheels or we'll get rid of them for you. That was 2 months ago. Went there today and they were still there. Sooo...

Yea I know right?! But theres quite a few used parts shops around this area. I had planned on selling them when I first saw them. Luckily for me VW parts a pretty expensive over here. I found 2 different auctions with these exact wheels. One auction was $900 and the other was $1100 buy it now. So i'm on the look out for something 16x7 and nice. I doubt i'll find MF10s that cheap. CP-035s, CP-R, Regamaster Evos, Gabs, Desmonds, SSR C's. Any of these in white. Perferably with red stickers. Sticking with the "R" color scheme. Theres quite a few I like.

 

Sell them and buy something nice for your wife or better yet your ITR. (I kid, I kid).

 

Haha yea, she has her own money. As a matter of fact she has ALL the money! lol! I found some Blitz type 01 17x8 (a little big) for $120 at a local store. But I really want to stick with 16x7 or 7.5. I also like Bridgestone Super RAP wheels. But they were only made in 14s! :spitdrink:

So I thought about how much I would get out of these wheels, and decided to do my best to get them as clean as I could. So today I started to polish the paint on them. Got one almost done. I'm using Meguiars M105/M205 compounds. For wax I used Collinite 915 on the wheel face, and Wheel Wax on the barrels. (insides)

I might be able to help you out with some thing say 20"X20"x20". Anything larger than that is gonna cost out the ass for shipping. Steering wheels, clusters, anything small. Shift knobs, electronics, gauges, etc etc....Kit-kats!

I know this is really old, but those rims were like really good back then. They still look quite nice if you ask me, I wouldn't say no to them, haha!

 

Those are decent wheels when cleaned and polished.
