I just got some JDM fogs!

Can anybody tell me were I can find a diy writeup on some fogs for a 00 coupe? I got some off ebay and I hevent recieved them yet but I don't think they come with directions , any help would be awsome.

just to keep you from getting harassed, theyre not JDM or even OEM, theyre OEM replicas They should come with instructions if theyre the depo ones, if not there should be a write up somewhere online, its really not that hard to do. Get em installed and take pics!

 

Yeah I kinda figured they were replicas (to cheap to be real) I hope they at least look good, I got my cheap ass front grill to fit alot better I'll take pics of that too.

Lesson learned, I had a son of a bitch time installing these dam lights, they look ok...except the fact that they gave me the wrong wire harness for under the dash

So I can't even use them yet, the directions I found online were good till I got to the interior wire install, and it was like putting a square pegg in a round hole, nothing fit!!!:bs: I took pics of everything and I want to do a diy write up but I want them to acctually work first

I should have taken everyones advice and bought some OEM lights!

suks that you had so much problems man this is why i havent bothered to install mine yet. there DEPO but im thinking on selling them for OEM ones...

 

yeah thats y i usually only buy from a store so i can look at what i am buying before i purchase

 

The ones I got wern't even depo, you might have less problems installing yours the worst part was cutting the holes, I ended up using a drimel it was like a hot knife through butter plus the cut can be ugly looking because its all going to be covered up by the lens cover, no worries on that part.

Plus if you get the right wire harness it should match up to everything.
Good luck if you decide to go ahead and do it.


I finally got them to work I found a great write up online about the under dash wire harness and it took me about five minutes.

I'll post pics this afternoon.

 

dude, I have the depo fogs I got for 90 bucks back in the day and they hooked up no problems at all. Just cut that shit out and plug it in. At least the depo ones had decent instructions. I have no complaints about them for the price though. Too bad they sent you the wrong one still.

 

Before the fogs

Without front clip

Drilled the holes in the pre-scribed area on the back of the front end

Installed the light brackets

Put covers on, hooked up the wires and put front back on the car

I finally got my getto grill to fit better...ha ha:googly:

I saw an open parking spot at the last second and whipped in to quick and caught the curb of the side walk next to the parking spot, I herd a loud pop and I knew what I had done.

Oh well I wanted to get it painted and now maybe I can find one that already is.

looks nice man all you need now is the black housing headlights. i had them on my black 99 and it was hot.
