My boy had one, a green MX-3 V6 peppy ass car preety fast, exhaust note from the v6 is pretty awesome considering is only a 1.8 V6, you can swap an 2.5 litter V6 from a Ford Probe or Mazda MX-6 and trully have a real sleeper Specs are dohc V6 1.8 / horsepower 130, torque 115, not bad, but dont even bother with the 4 banger is barely got a 100 hp, Specs on the 2.5 v6, from the mx6, dohc V6 2.5 / hp 160-164, tq 156-160
hmmm read about that... or even more of a sleeper with a swap with a JDM KLZE motor:thumbup: just a daily driver during the day, not so daily driver at night
Yeah man, the JDM motor has 195 hp, wow but is really hard to find, the good part is the swap itself is really simple you use the same engine mounts so no fabrication needed, and 2.5 are pretty plentiful, probe, mx6, mazda 626,
1.8V6 (K8-ZE) engine has ~132bhp and 160nm of torque! the 2.0V6 (KF-ZE) and 2.5V6 (KL-DE) are peace of crap and if you want good powerfull engine, take the JDM KL-ZE engine with ~200bhp and much more than 200nm of torque! but you will have to change almost everything in suspension to have full control on such a monster) Mx-3 1.8V6 is a perfect city car. but the engine and interior is much better in '91-'93 models than '94-'00.
