jdm del sol headlight bulbs??

jdm del sol headlight bulds are h4h right?? stupid question, i know but i just bought hid's and i got the wrong ones..i believe

 

yeah, JDM headlights use H4H bulbs :thumbup:

 

this is what i did (used a grinder to take off the first ring)



and for the wire support on the back of the bulb (while in headlight) just bend the tip downwards a lilttle bit (should then clamp on)

damn so you modded those h4 bulbs int h4h's??

 

i'm definately not grinding any rings off of the hid bulbs. i'm hopefully gonna return them..

 

well i got sent h4 hid's and i need to make them fit in the jdm headlights.. not good...

 

just do this..i helped him with this..use a dremel but like the side of it...easier than you expect just test it on a h4 bulb...

 

so did they send you the wrong ones, or can you NOT get H4H hids in states??

 

they sent regular h4 HIDs, i needed h4h, and its more expensive to buy the individual bulbs. i may just wind up saving this set for my accord and order another set of h4h HIDs
