jdm door tweeters

anyone got pics of the placement of the jdm front door tweeter pods? any one please :help:

 

i have them on my jdm door panels..but i dont have any decent pics showing it..did you get the ones that were on ebay?

 

yeah, they just seem like they stick out far, i reasearched a few spots and they are the right ones for the car. i thought for a min. i got the wrong ones but the part numbers match..any pics at all will help.

 

oh damn.. i didn't even see those on ebay!!! Let me know if you guys come across another pair, or if you see some fogs for sale.. PLEASE!! Thanks!

cool!, but... they look sunk into the door panel..thats whats confusing, mine have the rubber pods that elevate them off of the panel

oh and by the way i only paid 50$ for em'!:woot:

i think i may have just answered my own question... :slap:
i completely forgot i have a video of the jdm features of the del sol.. like one they would play at the dealership showing all the options...
..i guess i was right they are supposed to stick out.

i dont know rare_eg2, your tweeter looks like the right one but i dont know why its sunk into the door panel,like i said before.. but if you got jdm door panel with the speaker in them already, maybe thats just what someone did.. i dont know??? it weird:googly:

theyre not sunken in lol..they look just like yours, but i keep my interior clean so everything is dark black causing them to look flush in the pic..ill try to get a better pic..

haha! no problem man..just remember that jdm EG6 and jdm del sol tweeters are not universal amongst eachother..therefore these are super rare tweeters considering del sols are not common in japan, and trying to find something optional for a non common chassis makes it twice as hard to find :woot:

plus they sound great! congrats man

 

yeah i know how rare they are, i had to hop on them and i got em' real cheap, i was very surprised!.. now i just gotta find the damn shift console fog switch. thats hopefully next. i know you got one

 

you just missed one :woot: yeah i wanted them tweeters but i forgot to bid at the last min. to busy with this
