jdm gsr automatic tranny

i got a 98 jdm gsr automatic trannsmission i bought for a project that i wont be needing, paid $400 for it, lookin to get $300. located in augusta, ga. S4XA-3111657 is on the whiite sticker on the transmission.

Would this auto tranny bolt up to a ls block?

 

yes it will.

 

How is it diferent from a NON VTEC auto, gearing, LSD if so specs, im interested have a beater auto RS DC4

 

honestly i'm not sure, i know it has better acceleration

guys over at the import shop it came from are saying its got better acceleration, final drive, an can hanle boost much better than a stock usdm auto tranny

Dont know but I bought a complete engine for my bike on eBay it was coming from illinois to PR and it costed me about 350 for the shipping :cry:

I would love to have this tranny...but I can't get it till august(going out of town) and I can meet you have way I'm in alabama like 4 hours away... Oh yeah will I have any problems with that auto tranny going into my eg?

 

Do you have a B series ? wont fit a D

 

it will bolt up to any b-series engine. somebody posted up that it has long gears and wont launch for crap but will haul ass at the top of firt through the rest
