Wikipedia JDM / EDM Honda Integra XSi Specifications The Honda Integra was the successor to the rather odd Honda Quint, a five-door hatchback off the Accord platform and using bodywork from the Honda Civic which was known outside Japan as the Honda Quintet. It was also briefly sold in Australia badged as a Rover, as was the Quintet. It was introduced in 1985 as the Honda Quint Integra, and was available in either a 3 door or 5 door bodystyle or a four-door sedan. A DOHC 16v engine was optional, which was revolutionary technology for a car in its class at the time. In 1989 the second-generation Integra was released. The five-door hatchback was discontinued, while the sedan and three-door hatchback continued to be available. Honda's VTEC system was introduced in the XSi and RSi models. In 1994, a restyled third generation was introduced. This generation was available in various trim packages including the LS, GS, GS-R, and ultimately, the Type R in 1996. All engines were DOHC 1.8 liter fours, but the GS-R added VTEC (Honda's variable valve timing system) and a dual-stage intake manifold to produce 170 hp. The Type-R was a limited production factory racer, making 195 hp from its hand-built engine. The fourth generation Integra, produced from 2003 onwards, has an entirely new 2.0 L engine with much more potential. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Integra_(Europe)
curious on the rear fog lights to, i know i have seen some EDM site with a picture of a g2 teg with rear fogs....i have seen a couple of japan marketed integras and none had rear fogs, but that could mean that it was otional...does anybody have accurate info?
i belive they came stock, and were in the tail lights, cause the dash has another fog light switch were the usdm has the dimer. The ones on the bumper i have no idea but i kind of want some. they you can get the kit on www.jdmland.com
Just another cool thing is that the Integra was the second to get any version of VTEC, the NSX was the first.
I'd kill for an XSI head with low miles. No, I WOULD LITERALLY KILL SOMEONE . LOL! VIVA LA HONDA!!!!!
WTF???... huh? the first NSX came out in 1990... the first car with vtec was the da, then the ef's and finally, the NA.:woot:
the other switch on the XSI dash im pretty sure its for the rear ambers... cuz on the xsi tails theres an amber light that stays running with the front ambes....ooo so sexy i want the xsi tails ssssoooo bad
taillights? i have a 92 xsi and i dont think my taillihts are any different? really have not checked that out. i know the 92 and 93 rear bumpers are the same if i stand corected.
Non of the jdm imported cars I have owned have had rear fogs... All UK cars have to have rear fogs as a legal requirement.
yes they are different! the jdm 92 93 have the reflecter in the middle! the usdm have it in the middle and on the corners!
