jdm sidemarker placement

anyone know the exact placement for the jdm side markers on a del sol? i have an idea where they go, but just wanted to make it easier if anyone had measurements..

 

Hmm..what my buddy did was tape horizontal and vertical lines tangent to the fender, and used that as a guide. I believe that is the way you set it up anyway. I'll find a pic of some car and use paint to illustrate it...

cool, thats what i expected with the horizontal tape line.. form pics thats what it looked like to me. i was just unsure about the left/right justification of it. thanks alot though that helps tons

i did it a few hours ago.. looked at some pics and figured it out. i did a tape line from the fender line by the headlight and up from the around the same area he mapped out . they look pretty right on so i'm happy.. thanks guys

I have just measured mine, from the centre of the front wheel they are 20 inches back & from a straight line at the top of the wheel arch 2 1/2 inches down best as I can measure.

I have a spare pair of amber JDM Stanley side markers if you need any

 

Got a friend that has a template for the EG6 and after seeing Jimmys car he just traced 2 lines horizontaly parting out from the FRONT CORNER LIGHT and one vertically from the flor passing right by the front mud flap.. if you follow these lines it should end up pretty much where it belongs.. picture may help.. jimmy sorry for using your car for this..

yup thats exacly what i did, and it worked out perfect.

 

"SWEET" i've also been looking for a forum that show whea the JDM side markers are suppose to be mounted!!
