So no one makes mounts for the K in the Prelude?

Would it not fit in the engine bay or just not a huge market for it?

I was thinking of going RX-7 for a new car but now I know a guy selling a Prelude and I have always loved those. He has part of a turbo set-up selling with it so that would be fun for a while but then if that blew the H would be nice to know I could go K.

i know someone makes mounts for the K20/24 in an accord. iirc, the mounts are the same from the F to H, so they should do the job for you. hell, even building up the H should be plenty. :)

do it mike. you KNOW you want too. its time to actually buy a car... :slap:

    LOL

I'm gonna see how complete the turbo kit he has for it is. Cuz then I could have a 350hp Lude. Well, he said up to 500 but I don't wait it to blow up and drink lots of gas.

I say put the V6 from the accord with the 6 speed, hehe, $$$$$$ would be sick though, go to the car show see all the people with k20 swaps and then open the lude, people faces, priceless

I don't think anybody makes the mounts, but I've seen it done. The swap is a little pointless. You don't gain any hp, but the K20 responds to mods alot better. You can do it, but for the money, you are better off building an h22 instead of paying for a K motor, then building that. It looks pretty cool though..... I'd rather spend the $4k you would probably end up spending on the swap on building the H up. Makes more sense to me.

    Build and ReBuild...

I Know I would Stick with the H22 and Build from that Platform I dont Think the K20 is a Better Choice Event with the Aftermarket Support... :nono:

i say stick with the H22 but if u were to do the swap, only the K24 from the TSX makes any real sense on the torque and displacement side of things

EDIT: I just realized how old this thread is, this thread was before Mikey got his TSX :D
