AUTO(i kno working on making it a stick )

well heres the problem it happens once in a while
when im at a red light it idles find but when the light turns green and i hit the gas the engine revs really loud sounds like its about to redline but it doesnt in fact it wont go pass 2k rpm even when i floor it, but if i let it die down to 1k it would rev up to 3k, the only way i can fix it is by turning the engine off and then on again
It doesn't do it all the time but pretty often its really annoying when im at the red light and some guy in his ricey neon wants to play with me

Carefully clean your maf with some spray...but dont touch the little wire on the inside...if you have a friend with the same motor borrow his tps (2 screws) and drive around with a different one... you might be able to pick one up at a junkyard.
