okay i'm probibly going to regret posting this, however i was wondering what all you're opinions are of the police force?

are they a good thing or do you side with NWA?

i'm going to post my opinion later, so let's here it

I don't mind them, but maybe that's just because I have only gotten one ticket, and that was like 3-4 years ago.

Or stop getting caught. I do it all the time and with no radar detector and no speeding tickets ever.

 

I dont have a problem with police

 

i hate them when im out for a spirited drive BY MYSELF WITH NO ONE ELSE ON THE ROAD. other than that, im fine with the city cops.

suburb cops are rediculous. so far, ive gotten a warning for a 'loud muffler (when no muffler was on), a fix it ticket for having my satin black CRX in my driveway with no plates on it or vin exposed (no plates... racecar. no vin exposed... windows are taped so i dont paint them!), and recently 2 speeding tickets for me driving by myself far away from anyone else on back roads. retarded.

city cops protect my life. so theyre cool.

 

My city cops i have a problem with because they harass people. County and State i have no problem with. We had a state trooper stop with us and watch for about 30min at the street races. They dont care as lond as we dont get loud and stupid. Over all i like cops, they have a job to do like the rest of us. But if i had to deal with as many stupid people as they do.....

 

Get pulled over at least once a week because i have a Honda
rap sheet
4 exhaus tickets
2 tint tickets
2 altered suspention tickets
1 clear bumper light ticket
no speeding ticket

Cops around here have nothing to do but harrass imports or compacts
thats all they do you can ask anybody that live in VA

im no kiddin when I say that i cant drive my cars after 10 at night theres a 90% chance I will get pulled over, been pulled over at 430 in the mornig going to work for absolutely nothing, so yeah cops can kiss my ass, tickes are about 100 buck a pop so do the math, VA cops can suck a DICK been to alot of states an so far this is the worst state EVER I HATE THIS PLACE WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL.

 

I'm 50/50 on this. But last week I was at Auto Zone oredering a wheel bearing and a cop pulled into the parking lot and ran my plates and left. Didn't run anyone elses just mine (about 5 other cars in the lot). Only modded car in the lot though.

 

yeah okay i'll give you that suberb cops are retarded and have nothing better to do then pull people over...

it varies for me personally....

most of the time the cops are cool here....

BUT....if you drive a modified car they will follow and try to ticket you for any and everything.....if you have an exhaust and its dark outside watch out you will get a mod exhaust ticket $90-$110 a pop and they can give you 1 per day per city....if you drive a truck and have flows or a harley your golden they dont touch you even though "they claim we stop dual exhaust trucks and really louds harleys"....basically the majority of the cops around here especially the small towns hate import/tuner cars.....besides that if they are catching speeders, drunk drivers, or retards thumping so hard my head hurts 3 cars up from them...instead of focusing on mod exhausts or headlight colors, etc.......

if they center their attention on the tuners in town they are dicks and i hate the cops and agree with NWA...besides that they are just doing their job....

Yes I have family in Miami and cops are VERY laid back down there, they rarely fuck with imports, Neon lights, flashy cars no problem as long as youre not doing anithing stupid, cant say that here thought cops are assholes

 

Around here cops aren't that bad. I have been pulled over for some really stupid shit. But it is my fault I know that tint on the front 2 windows in NY is illegal but I did any way. So can I get mad a cops for doing there job no. I knew the risks when I was getting it done at it was a risk that I was willing to take. I ahve had my tint on my car for about 3 years and I have only been pulled over once. The only ticket that I can't really understand and I REALLY think that the cop was having a bad night.

Here is the story:

I was driving down the road and I see a cop in my rear view. I think nothing of it as I wasn't speeding or anything. I throw my cigarette out of the window (that is what I did with all of my cigarettes and I have been doing it for years.) All of the sudden the cop (NY state trooper) turns his lights on. I move over thinking he got a call or something and he starts following me. So I am thinking to myself "What did I do?". Cop comes up to my car

Cop: "Do you know why I pulled you over?"
Me: "No, sir"
Cop: "Lisence and registation please."
Me: (Gives him both)
Cop: "did you just throw a cigarette out of the window?"
Me: (I look at him a little crooked.) Yes.

The cop just walks back to his car and comes back with a ticket for littering. I just kind of looked at him like "are you fucking kidding me?"

That is really the only time I was like fuck cops.

 

Gotta make the city some revenue, that's fucked up

yeah i'm kind of getting mine... damn i really need to remember to keep my proof of insurance with me... every time i get pulled over i get one of those to :dead:
