Well, I gotta get this forum going so heres my start. I just got a ride in a barely 300hp turbo rsx, and I fell in love with my car all over againhsnap: :rocks: not that I fell out of love, but you get my point. The reason I said "barely 300hp" is because, thats nothing compared to the 400+hp stock block turbo K motors running around. Another thing was that the rsx I rode in is not a Type-S, so I can only dream what my S would be like turboed at 8000rpm. I seriously think I have finally made up my mind.... I'm goin' Turbo....Woot:rocks: So here it is, the official start to my turbo project:thumbup::thumbup: Although its gonna take forever, but thats life. How many other turbo owners do we have on JDMC? Any opinions, comments, question....post 'em up I'll get some pics up, to see what everybody thinks
I've turbo'd a few, and let me tell you, k motors love boost. One kid made 436 whp stock block w/ headgasket and studs. The type s motor loves it most. DO it!! DO it!!!
436whp=Z06 Killer :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: :rocks: Well, My Turbo Crusade has begun:thumbup:
You Want Power~ Oh Yea~ You want It Bad~ ~I Suggest Fully Building You Motor First ~Top and Bottom then If thats Not Enough HP/Torque for you~ Then ADD a Turbo~ but make sure your Suspension and Big Rotors/Brakes are Done~ Cause your gonna want to Slow That Rocket Down in Case of an Emergency~ :rocks:
man that sounds so crazy my friend with a type s ran 350 to the wheel with about 16lbs of boost on stock internals then blew up after boosting it up to 22lbs sad but true let his rsx r.i.p now hes dropping in a type r and going all motor lol...............:roflmao:
i agree mostly because you wanna stay safe not sorry that you took the short cut for the more power if you gotta do it once might as well do it right the first time
