What is a good brand name muffler that will perform relatively well but yet be fairly quite. I want to get my exhaust done soon and i need a muffler that isnt going to be loud. I was thinking possibly ES tuning? I dont know much at all about exhaust, please help.

well i'd say get a stock muffler. like a s2000 or rsx muffler. that would keep the db's down. or you could get a muffler like a magnaflow muffler. just not a straight through muffler. even if a straight through muffler has a silencer, it will still be hella loud. not tto mention, the silencer will be very restrictive, even more so than a stock muffler.

ES mufflers are straight through and have a relatively loud tone.

yeah if you want "quiet" do NOT get a turbo or straight through muffler.

pace setter and magniflow are two quiet-er brands

spoon street tail silencer is quiet along with the WS2, EX mag, and the Noir is fairly quiet. the pacesetter is restrictive and crappy. i heard the dynomax super turbo muffler is quiet, its striaght thru but it has curves in it.
