Well it all started about a year ago with my Eg that I still miss so much. This was my first car and is how I learned everything about the car i have today. I got it with an LS in it on the rotas for $4200. The motor how it looked when i got it: I went through my ricer stage with it and had halos and neons but after a little coaching from some JDM sites I managed go get her looking pretty nice! My OLD hatch: Then of course... I TOTALLED IT! I was on the way home from school and driving pretty normally. I go to change lanes to get around the slow driver in front of me and immediatley after changing lanes the car in front of me came to a dead stop, I swerved to change back into the other lane but thanks to cheap coilovers on blown struts with a bald tire the car spun out and I get T Boned by an SUV and spun over the median and three lanes of oncoming traffic. Thankfully I wasnt hurt but it deffinitley sucked! Oh by the way, I didnt have collision insurance so I got a $150 dollar ticket and no compensation for the car I went without a car for a few months but managed to find a deal on a white 94 EX coupe. My friend had picked the car up for $500 bucks somehow off his friend and he already had 2 cars so he sold me it for $2000 which was still a good deal for me. The best part about it though was that all my parts from my hatchback fit right onto my coupe... including the motor! Gutted and trashed Before the swap: Right after the swap: I was rockin the Si's for a few weeks
That takes you up to about a few months ago. I have a few more new things since then so Ill be updating with a new shoot in a few days here
Lately my mirrors have been bugging me. They are just plastic finish and look cheap because theyre not even painted. Anyways, ive seen people paint the outside of the mirror color matching their car and I thought it looked pretty good so I gave it a shot myself. Heres how it looks Before: After: Comparison: Whlie I was at it I decided to paint the brake calipers as well. I also painted the rear calipers this color.
Sorry about the bad pics, heres what it looks like cleaned with the mirros painted. Some other new things
Wow Plenty of pics... Think u should post more though.... Wish I had took pics of the swaping of my ride... Thats all very aww inspireing.....
Well the other day I took it upon myself to do something about my filthy carpet. I took it out to clean it and realized how bad it really was so I pressure washed it and scrubbed it but the stains remained. After thinking about it I decided to just toss it and repaint my floors and ditch the extra weight, at least until I find some nicer carpet!
sweet car man...nice work...very very clean looking...im shocked it made it onto the beach and back off lol...that things sites pretty low
I snapped a few pics tonight. Most of them suck cause my camera but ill post them anyways since I took the time. What do you think about the mirrors painted, I like em!
